Greetings from New York!!!! Brenda seems she's half middle eastern...as her mother & she look like one ..then it makes sense that she does the belly dancing!(^^) I find her very interesting. She experienced a HOME STAY program in OOSAKA when she was in highschool, as well as studying Japanese in college, so she was prepared to move to Japan!(^^) She did some tv work as well & that's why her husband got to see her! I love what she said in that he wasn't her type but she already liked him a lot from what he wrote during the correspondence, so she wasn't concerned! It shows she is mature & not superficial! (^^) Glad both of their parents blessed their marriage inspite of the international marriage!(^^) It was sweet that she decided to surprise her husband with some Japanese dish for his birthday!! It was challenging as it was her very first attempt to make Japanese food!!(^^) I had to laugh when she didn't know what to do with miso!(^^) Thank God, the camera man was there to helped her cutting GOBO!! I bet many Japanese young women would have the same problem!(^^) It was cute when she cut out "a heart shape" with KINSHI TAMAGO!! It was perfect to express her huge LOVE for her beloved husband!!!(^^)(^^) I thought her CHIRASHIZUSHI looked pretty good considering it was her first try!! I smiled when he was so happy & was impressed how well she made the Japanese food! I think it must have been the BEST birthday gift he has ever gotten in his life!!(^^) It seems there might be an additional member in the family, trying to have a baby boy to be the 5th generation of the traditional family business..HIKIYA?? That would be cool!!! (^^)(^^)

妻は子供が産まれてから本当は毎日料理してますし美味いですよ！
ただテレビの企画で盛り上がりの為に以前の話など大袈裟に編集されたのと、日本食は作らないので日本食へのチャレンジをしました。

娘の為に高校3年間、毎日お弁当を作り続けたシングルファーザーの実話をTVで見ましたけれど、最初は全く料理の出来なかったお父さんが、3年後にはプロ級のお弁当を作れるようになっていました。
苦手なものでも我が子の為ならば頑張って上達できるのでしょうね。
あと、日本の旦那さん方は、自分が料理するという選択肢も持つべきだと思います。旦那さんが料理をすることを嫌がる女性もいるらしいですが、そうでなければ別に旦那さんが料理をしても良いと思います。最近の男性は料理好きも多いですしね。
